About Oscar
With 11 years of experience as a piano educator, I have worked with many students from different backgrounds and learning abilities. I teach school and college students with patience and dedication, ensuring each learner receives personal attention. Music education, in my view, is a journey of growth and self-discovery.
I have helped students prepare for performances, cultural programmes, and internal music assessments, which became important milestones in my career. I focus on strong fundamentals such as correct hand position, finger independence, timing, and smooth coordination.
I believe encouragement and discipline together create successful learners. My teaching environment is friendly yet structured, helping students stay motivated and consistent. My mission is to help students build confidence, musical understanding, and lasting appreciation for piano.

My piano teaching methodology is designed to help students achieve technical skill, musical understanding, and creative expression. I begin by assessing each student’s current abilities, goals, and learning style, then design structured lessons that include technical drills, chord and scale practice, rhythm exercises, and performance preparation.
Motivation is maintained through achievable goals, positive feedback, and encouragement to build confidence and consistency. Communication is clear, interactive, and detailed, helping students understand note reading, hand coordination, dynamics, tempo, phrasing, and expressive playing.
Integrity ensures lessons are well-prepared, punctual, and focused on real progress. Creativity is fostered through improvisation, composing melodies, experimenting with musical styles, and encouraging personal expression. In addition to piano, I also teach sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and music theory for complete musical development.
