- Music Theory
My favorite subject in college was music theory. I have always been interested in it, and want to spread that enjoyment by teaching others.

Joshua is a respected tutor in our community. They are highly recommended for their commitment and the quality of their lessons. An excellent choice to progress with confidence.
About Joshua
I was the student in class that was always asking our professor why music worked the way it did. When he was talking over our heads, I could always help my peers understand how it all connected and why things worked the way they do. As a band director, I really enjoy teaching and helping others learn more about music.

I can help tutor you through your courses at college, help you write your own music, or maybe you just find music interesting and want to learn more about why music is the way it is. I have always found music theory to be an interesting subject to study, from learning key signatures to counterpoint to atonality, I find all of it exciting and am looking forward to helping you learn more about the music!

I have known Joshua since college and I couldn’t recommend him enough! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about music, and music theory is one of its pillars. He is a great listener, compassionate and fair, all of which together makes him a great educator.
Joshua is such a patient teacher and will never make you feel bad for not knowing things! I have had him teach me multiple times and every time I actually remember the lessons!
