About Akshay

"Hey there! I'm a proud Culinary Grad from Manipal, Karnataka (Class of 2020), but my journey isn't confined to the kitchen – it's also deeply woven into the world of chess. With over 15 years of making moves on the board, I reached a peak FIDE Rating of 1980 and snagged some prizes in places like the UK, Czech Republic, and UAE. For the past 8 years, I've been sharing my chess love both online and offline coaching the game I'm crazy about.

Perfect! He is teaching my 5 yr old daughter and he is very careful to connect and keep her focused along with him understanding her depth of knowledge and accordingly giving puzzles to fine-tune her understanding. She has ramped up very fast in short time!
