About Angus
I am currently awaiting teacher training for Teach First. I have spent the last three years in the film industry down in London. Before that I studied at the University of Edinburgh for my masters in Film and English. And my original Film degree was undertaken at the University of Exeter within the English department. I was president of the Film Society at Exeter and also won the screenwriting competition. I have a passion for cinema, literature and the arts.

My teaching method is based in inquiry-based learning but also maintains authoritative instruction. I like to encourage my students to ask questions and make them consider wider themes and values within the subject. I prefer a student-centred approach so that students play an active and participatory role in their own learning. I like to lead through the personal model style of teaching which focuses on leading by example, revealing to students how to attain and understand information. Through this model I will teach students to learn through observation and copying my process.
