About Faustino
I am a Chemistry student, currently entering the fourth and final year of my integrated masters at a top UK university.
Teaching people is something that I have been doing subconciously throughout my life and comes naturally; whether it's coaching my flatmates on how to improve their cooking or assisting younger students whilst serving as a chemistry ambassador during sixth form.
Through a combination of empathy, patience and a few jokes along the way, if I'm knowledgable about a topic, then you will be too in no time.

Chemistry is an incredibly broad subject, so it makes sense that the topics and the methods of teaching vary greatly from exam board to exam board. Because of this, when we first make contact I like to familiarise myself with the requirements of your course and make a plan from there.
My teaching methodology is flexible; I can supplement what you are currently learning in school with additional support and exercises, or I can independently take you through the course topic by topic.
Furthermore, in the case of many concepts you are expected to regurgutate information without understanding why things are happening. Occasionally this is beneficial and makes the content more approachable, although in some instances having a little bit of an insight into the reasoning can help understanding greatly. As always, I leave the decision with you; although the extra knowledge is advisable if you are attempting to pursue chemistry at a higher level.
