About Thierry
I am a finance and data professional with extensive experience working across financial analysis, reporting, business intelligence and data engineering in international organisations.
I work regularly with Power BI, Excel, Power Query, DAX and SQL to turn complex operational and financial data into useful reporting and decision-making tools. My background also includes financial modelling, FP&A, ERP systems and building dashboards for real business users.
I enjoy breaking technical problems into clear, logical steps and explaining not just how something works, but why. I am patient, analytical and practical in my approach, and I particularly enjoy helping students, analysts, finance professionals and career changers build confidence with data skills they can use in real-world situations.

My lessons focus on practical data analysis using the tools and techniques found in real professional environments. Topics can include Power BI dashboard development, data modelling, Power Query, DAX, Excel analysis, data cleaning, KPI design, visualisation and translating business questions into useful reporting.
I teach by working through realistic problems rather than relying heavily on theory. You are welcome to bring your own dataset, dashboard, university assignment or workplace problem and we can work through it together while developing the underlying skills.
Lessons can range from understanding the fundamentals of analysing and structuring data through to building complete Power BI models, troubleshooting DAX measures and designing effective management dashboards.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes and can be adapted for students, analysts, finance professionals, career changers or anyone who wants to become more confident working with data.
