About Danielle
With 20 years of a background in music, visual art, and writing, as well as a better half of a decade curating youth art education: my goal is always to meet students where they are, encourage what genuinely interests them, and help them develop the confidence to create something that is uniquely theirs.
This philosophy has shaped not only my personal teaching, but also curriculum frameworks I’ve developed and implement, which have been used by over 60 teaching artists working with youth across the country.
I really believe the best way to get kids to express themselves creatively is to first help them pinpoint what it is they want to say, and then choose the route that would feel most exciting to say it.
