About Ava
I am a dedicated Guitar instructor with 12 years of tutoring experience, teaching high school students, college learners, and adults who want to explore music through guitar. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 300 students in learning and improving their guitar skills.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clear explanations, practical learning, and positive encouragement. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and motivated.
In my classes, students learn the fundamentals of guitar such as chords, rhythm patterns, strumming techniques, finger exercises, and basic music theory. These skills help them develop confidence in their playing.
I also include song practice so students can apply what they learn and enjoy their progress.
Teaching many students has helped me develop simple and effective methods that make guitar learning easier for beginners.
Some of my students have successfully performed at school programs and college events, which shows their improvement and dedication.
My aim is to help students learn guitar confidently while enjoying the beauty of music.

My approach to teaching Guitar focuses on helping students build strong technical skills while also developing musical understanding. Through clear communication and adaptable teaching methods, I guide students based on their learning style and musical goals.
Students first learn important Guitar techniques such as chord shapes, strumming styles, rhythm patterns, scales, and finger exercises. These fundamentals help students develop control and accuracy while playing the instrument. I also use real-life musical examples from songs to demonstrate how Guitar techniques are used in real performances.
This makes lessons more practical and engaging. Along with Guitar training, I introduce related subjects such as basic music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, improvisation basics, and songwriting skills. These subjects help students become more complete musicians. My aim is to help students develop confidence and creativity while improving their Guitar skills.
