I have played guitar for 35 years, having explored a wide variaty of musical styles, from Rock, Jazz, Blues, Folk as well as being classically trained.
Primarily play acoustic guitar these days, heavily focused on fingerstyle guitar, but in addition to this I also play piano and bass as a gigging musician

Are you ready to take your guitar playing to the next level? Whether you're a beginner looking to
learn the basics or an experienced player aiming to refine your fingerstyle techniques, my aim is
to tailor a lesson plan just for you.
Whatever styles of music you're interested in, learning to play fingerstyle guitar will allow you to
interpret and reimagine how you play the music you love.
With over 30 years of experience in performing fingerstyle guitar, I offer personalized lessons that
focus on developing your skills and enhancing your musicality. My teaching approach is friendly,
patient, and designed to meet your unique needs and goals.
If you are new to fingerstyle guitar, I can guide you through the fundamentals and give you a solid base to build upon:
• Thumb independence and alternating bass
• Travis picking and syncopation
• Advanced techniques: hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, and harmonics
• Playing melodies and bass lines simultaneously
• Exploring genres: folk, blues, classical, ragtime and jazz
• Composition and improvisation
• More advance techniques such as artificial harmonics, percussive techniques etc
• Performance preparation and more
