About Rosie
I am a friendly, patient and approachable 24 year old British female tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students build confidence in their abilities. Having lived and worked in London, I understand the demands of a busy academic environment and how difficult it can be to balance studying with the sports, hobbies and passions that make life enjoyable. As someone with a huge love for sport myself, I believe students should be able to succeed academically without having to give up the things they love.
I also have a personal understanding of the challenges some students face when learning. My younger brother is very dyslexic, and I have supported him throughout much of his education. This has given me a real passion for helping students who may need a little extra patience, encouragement or a different approach to learning. I believe every student learns differently, and my goal is to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and gradually building their confidence.
I am reliable, organised, professional and genuinely invested in helping my students succeed. I aim to make lessons engaging and positive while ensuring students feel proud of their progress.

I work with all types of learners and adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s individual needs, learning style and confidence level. I have particular experience supporting children aged 12–16, including children with dyslexia who benefit from more visual learning. My lessons combine clear explanations, visual examples, worked questions and interactive practice, with a focus on both understanding and building confidence. Lessons typically last 1–2 hours, although I have also provided more intensive morning sessions during pre-exam periods. I have 3 years of tutoring experience, having supported three students aged 12–16, and I can teach Maths and Sciences.
