About Josh
My name is Josh and I'm a friendly and approachable History and Politics graduate from the University of Manchester, where I achieved a first class degree with honours. I have a range of experience in History, Politics and Economics and enjoy helping students build their knowledge, confidence and exam technique.
I have an A* in A-level History and experience tutoring my younger sister, helping her achieve an A. I also have degree-level knowledge and skills in Politics, and achieved an A* in A-level Economics. I aim to make lessons engaging and straightforward, while tailoring each session to the individual student and their goals.

I have a range of experience in History, Politics and Economics, including tutoring my younger sister in History, helping her achieve an A at A Level. I have a first-class BA (Hons) History and Politics degree from the University of Manchester and an A* in A-level History and Economics. I mainly tutor GCSE and A-level students.
I use a friendly and personalised approach, whilst adapting lessons to each student’s needs. I believe in a strong focus on understanding topics, essay technique and exam preparation, consolidated using questions and exam-style practice. Lessons are typically 1 hour.
