About Kitty

I am an aspiring teacher with a genuine love for helping people learn and grow. I decided to pursue teaching because I have seen first-hand the difference that patient, supportive guidance can make.

I studied A level psychology, amongst others, where I achieved an A* grade. I also recently graduated with a 1st class psychology degree. As mentioned I am now also an aspiring teacher, pursuing a PGCE course this year.

Things I like to do:
Going on walks with my dog
Going out with my friends
Swimming
Watching TV

During my own A-Level studies, I struggled at times and benefited greatly from extra support. That experience shaped the way I teach today and inspired me to give that same confidence and clarity back to others.

I understand how overwhelming A-Levels can feel, and I aim to create a calm, encouraging space where students feel supported and capable.

Helping students realise their potential is what truly motivates me, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing their confidence and understanding grow.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student.

I’ll begin our relationships by identifying strengths, gaps in knowledge, and exam board requirements, then design sessions that break down complex theories into clear, manageable ideas.

My teaching approach focuses on active learning, exam-style questions, and building strong evaluation and essay skills. I prioritise confidence, clarity, and exam technique, ensuring students not only understand the content but know how to apply it effectively in exams.

My aim is to make the subject of Psychology accessible, interesting, and achievable, helping students feel confident and fully prepared for success.
