About Yuvika

As a current penultimate year law student with a very broad and diverse range of passions for literature, advocacy and debate, business operation and marketing, all things economics, politics, and current affairs, as well as a love for athletics, I possess a diverse range of talents and interests. Pursuing a law degree reflects my analytical mindset and desire for intellectual challenge. However, my love for literature has been a constant source of inspiration, prompting me to explore the profound themes and narratives within literary works. My enthusiasm for debating and politics fuels my ability to engage in thoughtful discussions, critically analyse different perspectives, and articulate my opinions effectively. Additionally, my appreciation for the arts allows me to draw upon creativity and aesthetics to enhance my teaching methods. Lastly, my passion for athletics demonstrates my dedication, discipline, and ability to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. My unique blend of skills and interests positions me perfectly to pursue my aim of tutoring English, where I can spend time sharing my love for literature, foster critical thinking, and inspire students to discover the power of language and storytelling.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology will be focused on fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the subject. I will employ a combination of interactive discussions, critical analysis, and experiential learning to engage students in the texts and concepts. By encouraging active participation, I will create a collaborative learning environment where students can share their thoughts, interpretations, and explore diverse perspectives. Additionally, I will provide personalised guidance and support to cater to each student's unique learning style, helping them develop strong analytical skills, effective writing techniques, and a lifelong love for literature. The typical length of my lessons will be 1 hour. I have had several months of tutoring experience, teaching students privately, both in person and remotely. My lessons are for GCSE English Students.
