About Terri
I was a elementary and special education teacher for many years. After retiring last year, I was a part-time reading recovery aid for grades K-2 while working as a private tutor after school. This summer I will be tutoring over 20 children to prepare them for the upcoming school year. I will likely not be returning to school this year as I want to focus on my tutoring career.

I use a very hands on teaching approach. I specialized in special education so I know how to approach varying learning disabilities with my teaching. I have specialties in both reading and math recovery. Most of my experience is with elementary school students, though I can teach up to 8th grade.
