About Ivan

I have been writing scripts for all sorts of programmes for 7 years by now.
I am an A* Computer Science student and I got 67/70 marks for A-level final xomputer science project. This was related to my another field of interest - engineering, which helps me to have access to real-life problems and sharpen my programming skills ,ore and more.
My passion for computer science has risen gradually during my secondary school when I became a captain of class' computer workshop. I have learned most of content by myself so it is easy for me to explain it to other people.

About the lesson

I focus on practice. My lessons are based on solving real-life problems which I as an engineer may face, this gives a student an understanding why they should learn certain skills. It is also possible that a student brings me his/her homework and we solve it together. I am an experienced programmer. Got an A* for my A-level project in CompSci which was about Artificial Intelligence. Lessons are typically 45-60 minutes long but in some cases (like with exam preparation) a session can be up to 2 hours long. I teach students of all levels from year 7 to year 13/14.

Ivan is a really understanding and knowledgeable teacher. He was recommended to me by one of my friends and even though I was kind of skeptic at first towards him thinking I'll have to find another tutor soon, my suspicions were quickly swept away. He explained to me things I was even afraid to ask about, thinking that I'd have to take a lot of time studying the topic at home. He made really challenging topics sound simple and with him, I had improved my knowledge of the subject to my current level which I consider quite high compared to what I had before. If I had to recommend one tutor out of the ones I had, my recommendations is no doubt Ivan.
