About Lara

My name is Lara I'm a first year college student studying biomedical engineering. Yes lots of math I know but it gets better once you understand. I want to help teach because I think it's sad to see many people these days not liking school because of it or this whole stigma stress of “if you don’t pass math you don’t pass the leaving cert”. It's very easy once you understand why we do things and I want to help people know that

About the lesson

I take a fun approach to the topic focusing on understanding why we do things first and why we need to do it to get our big question of how. I grew up thinking math was awful but when I understood why we do it everything became a lot easier. Many people now don't like it and I understand that but I want to help people to begin to like it as when you like it it’s more motivating to understand
