About Avni
Hi! I'm Avni.
I teach Physics up to 8th grade, Math up to 6th grade, and Chemistry and English up to 10th grade.
I'm a big believer in learning without the boredom. That means fun explanations and room for loads of questions (even the "this is probably a dumb question" kind)
A student myself, I know which parts confuse people, because I've been confused by them too.
At the end of the day, I want kids to leave a session getting the concept, maybe even enjoying it a little, and feeling more confident than when they started.

I teach one-on-one online, using my iPad to write things out by hand as we go, like an actual notebook, not slides or a screen recording. You'll see me working through problems live, not just listening to me talk.
I teach up to 10th grade. I'm still early in my tutoring journey, but I put a lot of thought and effort into every session.
Since I'm not that much older than the students I teach, they tend to open up more, ask "silly" questions without hesitating, and treat it less like a class and more like getting help from an older sibling or cousin!
I explain things in plain language, use examples that make sense to a kid, and check in to make sure things are clicking before moving on.
