About Polly
I am Polly, short for Pollyanna from Manchester. I went to a Grammar school from year 7 to year 13 and now I study Economics Bsc at King's College London.
For A Level, I took Maths, Chemistry and Biology and obtained A*, A*, A.
At GCSE, I obtained eight grade 9's and two grade 8's as well as an A in further maths (which I highly recommend you take if you are considering maths at A level).
I would love to tutor students as I believe that having a tutor allows you to be comfortable to say if you are struggling, especially if you are like me and were too shy to say whether you did not understand a topic. Also, it allows you to cover topics that you may have understood but just need to be refreshed. It is personal and tailored towards your needs and that is why I believe I would make a good tutor for you.

Personally, I believe that practise questions is the key to success at A level. I would happily go over any content the student is struggling to understand and then follow this up with practise questions.
I would try and make the lesson as interactive as possible and obtain any powerpoint slides that I found useful when I was studying and thoroughly go over them.
Furthermore, I would also message the student prior to the lesson to question what they would like to go over so the lesson can be tailored to them. This would allow for me to be prepared for the lesson with all the correct resources.
If I feel it is necessary, I would give the student extra resources to practise with in their own time.
