About Chris
Balance is very important. On the serious side, I hold a UK Master's in Marketing along with my university degree. I work hard, and value integrity, commitment and dedication.
But I also enjoy time away from work. I am a married family man with two children. I cook, take gym training seriously, love music and walking my dog. And getting out whenever possible to explore the natural world whether locally or through international travel, of which I have done a lot.
With the benefit of experience, I don't just teach from a textbook. I help my students bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application. Whether you are navigating a complex marketing project, sharpening your professional writing, or looking to improve your English fluency, I provide a structured yet conversational environment where we focus on clarity, confidence, and practical results.

I offer a unique perspective built on forty years of diverse professional and life experience. I worked in the UK corporate world for twenty years and owned and operated a hotel in British Columbia for the next twenty, with a couple of years in between to travel the world.
