About Fatima

My name is Fatima, and I am a qualified dietitian who genuinely enjoys communicating with people. Whether I am teaching about nutrition and healthy eating or guiding someone in English, I find great fulfillment in sharing knowledge and helping others grow. Teaching, to me, is simply an extension of my love for meaningful conversations and human connection.

I grew up speaking and learning multiple languages, including Arabic, Farsi, English, and a bit of French. Because of this, I understand what it feels like to learn a new language — the challenges, the small victories, and the confidence that develops over time. This personal experience allows me to be patient, understanding, and supportive with my students.

English has always felt natural and comfortable to me, and I am fully fluent in both academic and conversational settings. This is why I chose it as the language I teach. I believe language is more than grammar and vocabulary — it is about expression, confidence, and connection.

One of my strengths is my ability to connect with people in a genuine way. I enjoy building that connection with my students, creating a space where we can communicate openly, learn from one another, and grow together.

About the lesson

My name is Fatima, and I believe that learning should feel comfortable, encouraging, and interactive rather than stressful or overwhelming. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence first, because I believe that when students feel safe to express themselves, real progress happens naturally.

I use a communicative and student-centered methodology. This means lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s level and personality. For younger students, I incorporate guided conversation, vocabulary games, reading practice, and structured speaking exercises to help them talk more confidently. For secondary or university-level students, I focus on grammar accuracy, academic writing, presentation skills, and fluency development. I also provide constructive feedback in a supportive way so students improve without feeling discouraged.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on the student’s age and needs. Each session includes a mix of explanation, practice, and active participation to ensure steady improvement.

Teaching English feels natural to me, as I am fluent and comfortable using it in academic and professional settings. I genuinely enjoy seeing my students grow in confidence and communication skills over time.

My lessons are suitable for primary school students, secondary school students, and university learners who want to improve their speaking, writing, grammar, or overall confidence in English.
