About Martin

I grew up in Montreal and it is here that I first met immigrant students who needed to integrate into the local community. Since I too am a child of immigrants who fled a hostile communist environment, I quickly helped these people acquire the necessary skills to adapt to the new country. I am gifted with the desire to see new Canadians become successful at expressing themselves in another language.

About the lesson

As a native English speaker who has lived abroad, I understand what challenges a newcomer has to face when arriving to a new country and I am adept at helping him/her cope with the basic phraseology . The foreigner will also increase his self-confidence and even be able to successfully enter the job market. I am also equipped to share common verbal expressions that will help him converse.
