About Briar
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, teaching high school students, college students, and adults. I have successfully taught around 300 students, helping them progress musically and build confidence.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, motivation, and personalised learning. I believe every student can succeed when lessons are adapted to their pace, style, and goals. I focus on making lessons enjoyable, clear, and practical.
I teach important piano skills such as hand technique, rhythm, finger coordination, sight-reading, and basic music theory. I also encourage students to explore musical expression through real songs and practical exercises.
One of my achievements is guiding beginners into confident players and helping adults return to piano after a long break. Many students have shown steady improvement through consistent practice and guidance.
My goal is to inspire students to enjoy piano, build strong skills, and develop a lifelong love for music.
