About Sanjay Ninan
While I was pretty good at achieving good scores in my exams, I always felt that I needed time to grasp concepts. And I always made sure that I spent as much time as I needed to, in order to understand these concepts as well as I possibly could. I never liked it when certain teachers assumed that students would understand whatever they taught irrespective of the kind of effort they put in. I always felt that it was the teacher's responsibility to make sure that every single student in the class understood what she was trying to teach. Here I am, trying to demystify the teaching process.

I loved it when my teacher broke everything down to the basics. When (s)he taught it in such a way that the weakest student in the class understood everything that was being said. I prefer to take time with my students to make sure that they understand the concepts at their most elementary level so that the information is deeply ingrained in their brains.
