Former art teacher with over 10 years of experience, I teach design and illustration (drawing, watercolor, engraving) in Nice and online, from primary school to adults. Classes are taught

Scott is an amazing art teacher who really takes the time to explain things! I highly recommend taking a class with him :)

I took a blockprinting workshop with Scott and it was super fun! He patiently explained all the steps and materials, which was really helpful for me as a beginner. I especially appreciate how encouraging Scott is. He’s inspired me to explore and experiment with different forms of art, especially through his Art Club!

I took a well structured class with Scott in the Philadelphia area in the winter of 2025. He was clear about his instruction in printmaking. He gave us an in depth run down on supplies to bring to class, with brands and explanations of tools. I even learned why wooden spoons are better tools than metal spoons (since I'm not ready for the investment of a barren). I also finally got a better understanding of layering with colors, a concept that was hard for me in college. He was very encouraging and enthusiastic about all the artwork being made in the class. He made an effort for us to take our time looking around the room and meet other classmates. Scott helped make our classroom space a comfortable and safe place where participants would still feel encouraged - even if they made a mistake (i.e. cut finger or maybe backwards words). I would have taken another class with him but he's not here anymore! Good luck out there!

Scott is a great teacher! Through him I was able to learn a lot about art and what style works for me the best. He is a great person to learn from and cares about your experience! Never a dull moment with him!
