Hi! Let me introduce myself and my method, and how I might help you learn to enjoy history!
I have extensive experience in both the academic and business worlds, and my approach to teaching is based on my experiences in both realms, and my creative personality (artist, musician and writer). I love to help those who hate history, and fellow-strugglers. My gentle approach is very much an "out of the box" experience, and it:

The first, free, session is an online Getting To Know You session where you tell me your aspirations and academic struggles and we determine how I can best help you, how many sessions you might need, and what the rates will be. (At the most it would probably be 1-4 sessions, unless you want more extensive help with homework or research.)
My basic rate is for online help with an American high school or college freshman-level survey course (World History, Western Civilization, U.S. History). I would negotiate a higher rate if travel is involved (to your home or a public location), for honors or college prep, or for some upper-level courses in specific areas from Western Civilization (e.g. British, European or Biblical history, WWII, etc.).
