About Anh

Hello everyone! My name is Anh Truong, and I am currently a student studying year 10 at Point Cook Senior Secondary College! I am half Vietnamese, and half Cantonese (I can't speak Cantonese.) Some of my hobbies are racing, cars, art (painting, photography, and drawing), and hanging out with my friends.

I honestly want to teach, but not to become a teacher, you know? But only as a tutor. The idea of helping others improve and being the reason brings a sense of joy inside of me, and I personally love helping people when I can. Whether it's with their learning or other reasons!

About the lesson

I offer students from kindergarten to year 6 either to assist them with basic general math or more slightly advanced math.

On the first lesson, I would ask the student to tell me about themselves, like their interests, hobbies, etc., and their learning style, like if they're more visual or more verbal, so I can get to know them better and also adjust my teaching style to suit their preferences.

I will usually run my lessons from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, but I am also happy to teach 45-minute lessons or 1-hour lessons at your request.

I have assisted many of my friends and classmates to improve their mathematics, and they were pretty happy with my advice.
