About Sacha

I am a student in engineering school and have been giving math lessons for 3 years to help students in difficulty or to prepare for an exam and a competition.
I went to a preparatory science class at the prestigious Janson de Sailly high school and now want to help you with mathematics.
So I know well the difficulties of the preparation and I am aware of the subjects which can pose problem. The opinion of a former preparatory class student will therefore be all the more interesting in order to better identify the difficulties. I will also be of great help in the progression and strategic analysis of competition subjects.
Bac S with very good 20/20 in math
17/20 in the polytechnique math test
19/20 in the CentraleSupelec competition

For a maximum of pedagogy, it is important that the student tell me what he is preparing (baccalaureate, entrance exam to engineering school, exam, ...) so that we see what we can work on.
During a course, I review with the student the points of the course that may pose a problem, then there is a little work on your own which allows the course to be applied immediately. Then we move on to the correction and I give advice and tips for rapid progress. I also give lessons to prepare a homework assignment or homework assignment.
In addition for the students in preparation I have many resources that I pass on to my students so that they can also work on their own and prepare for the course.

CONDUCT OF A TYPICAL SESSION

1- Answer the student's questions (course points, exercises and corrections given in class)

2- Evaluate comprehension of the pupil (direct questions, exercises of direct application, validation of the pupil's files)

3- Verification of the work requested of the pupil
3-a- Identification of any misunderstandings [ N] 3-b- Detailed explanation of questions not understood
3-c- Correction of any errors
3-d- Advice on solving method and tips

4- For all exercises / annals done together, the student is strongly encouraged to redo everything on their own and to write them cleanly. The pupil is also called upon to note any difficulties encountered as well as the time devoted to each exercise. The objective of this approach is:
4-a- Validation of assimilation
4-b- Evaluation of writing
4-c- Evaluation of effectiveness (speed, absence of mistakes,…)

5- Summary point - Report of the session
5-a- What was done during the session
5-b- What the student was able to remember
5-c- What the student must do for the next session

A- Pre Point - DST: review the whole course, make one (or more) annals together, take an inventory the pitfalls to avoid and the tips to know.

B- Point Post - DST: review faults and analyze them, explain blocking points, validate the methodology, define areas for improvement.
