About Alexandra Helena
I use many technology tools, such as video-lessons and simulators, and focus a lot on solving exercises, as that is what determines whether or not the student has understood the subject. I spend a shorter time just exposing the subject, and while explaining I encourage the student to participate by asking questions and leading to the resolution of the examples. Then I'll help solve the homework, or I'll take my own list to be sorted out. I notice that these participatory forms of class motivate the student much more, and as he realizes himself capable of understanding the contents, more and more he feels compelled to study.

Hello! My name is Alexandra. I studied 5 semesters of Mechanical Engineering at UnB. I ended up locking up, and I'm putting some money back. In this time I spent outside of college, I gained a good experience giving tutoring. I am currently working in a private institution for people with disabilities, as well as being autonomous teaching private classes. I work with students of all ages, but I especially like working with adolescents in grades nine through three, because this is a decisive age for the young person, who is already starting to tread the paths towards his future.
