I learned how to play chess when I was 8 years old and I have loved the game ever since. I was in varsity chess club in high school. I won numerous awards including first place in blitz chess at nationals.

My playing strength is 1800-1900 elo. I played for varsity chess in highschool and I learned a lot from my coach. I would focus my teaching on good fundamentals to give my students excellent positions from the opening. And also focus heavily on endgames as they are crucial to becoming a better chess player.
