About Mi
Hey, my name is Isabella. I’m currently studying full time in Brisbane as a Master of Social Work student. I used to be a part time Mandarin tutor in Sydney. It would be great for me to teach my mother tongue here in a foreign country.
I remember the time I sat with a teenage girl on the mat, teaching her how to get different tones done with funny hand gestures. It’s just one piece of beautiful memories I had with my students.
I aim to offer my students more than just language skills — I want to spark their curiosity about the culture behind the words. While most people begin learning a language out of interest, I truly hope they can stay committed, because the rewards of consistency in efforts often go far beyond your expectations!
