About Graeme
I am a fourth-year aerospace engineering student at Concordia University, and I build rockets! My greatest passion is working on Concordia's Liquid Rocketry engineering team, where I apply my tutoring subjects on a daily basis to make real-life rocket science come to life. I love to teach people and share my enthusiasm for engineering!
I have been teaching nonstop for eight years. Starting with teaching beginner snowboarding, then as a summer camp counselor, both teaching counselor trainees counseling skills and campers survival, swimming and sailing skills. I have experience as a teaching assistant at Concordia University in Applied Ordinary Differential Equations, and mentoring engineering students in applied engineering skills, including fluid mechanics, static structures, engineering standards, thermodynamics, leadership and more. My range of experience is unique, which has given me the skills needed to adapt to any learning style.

My lessons are highly adaptable and focused on fundamentally understanding problems by adapting to the unique learning styles of students. My experience in teaching a vast range of skill sets, from sailing to differential equations to engineering fundamentals, has given me a unique perspective on how to approach problems creatively and present complex ideas in easily understandable ways. A lesson could be formatted in many ways, such as tackling a challenging problem by first working through simpler problems that use the same concepts, reviewing past attempts at problems, student-led trial and error, following along with given solutions, or any other method! I teach students from Middle School to University level, and with experience in most math and physics courses through calculus, trigonometry, algebra, mechanics, thermodynamics and more, I am confident I will be able to facilitate real understanding of some of the toughest courses out there!
