About Brandon
I am a fourth-year PhD student of physics, aspiring theoretical physicist, and lover and student of mathematics, philosophy, and history.
I've acted as teaching assistant for five virtually-administered physics courses at Arizona State University. Through those assistantships, I have experience constructing and administering original problem-sets and delivering private instruction through office-hours. All of my teaching experience has been virtual.
My first research experience was an NSF-funded internship at Michigan State University in 2016, working under Scott Bogner -- now Head of Nuclear Theory at the world's best program in nuclear theory. I've been working on research projects of physics ever since.

Physical theory should be awe-inspiring and mind-opening.
I strive to reveal the logical essence of physical theory, giving students a firm foundation from which they can branch out.
I emphasize mathematical rigor while appealing to both physical and mathematical intuition.
No one learns by merely observing a lecture, and no two people learn in exactly the same way. Consequently, I give my students opportunity to be active during lessons. In addition to provoking superior learning, student activity allows me to gauge understanding, permitting me to mix my methods in response to that gauge.
