About Sabrina

I have been in Nottingham for over 15 years, I am French, patient and full of ideas to make the lessons easy and fun. I teach French at all levels: general French for everyday use, French for business and preparation for French exams.

About the lesson

Currently, I teach over 60 students a week with success individually and in classes.

I have been in Nottingham for over 15 years, I am French, patient and full of ideas to make the lessons easy and fun. I teach French at all levels: general French for everyday use, French for business and preparation for French exams.

I have lots of experience in one-to-one tuition and teaching groups. I am confident in my ability to teach French from scratch but also to learners who struggled to learn French in school or with other tutors. I also teach a lot of fluent speakers who have a need for conversation and language adjustments.

I provide 2 formats:
- Conventional teaching by following a program.
- Bespoke teaching according to the group or person's needs.

The bespoke teaching is quite unorthodox. It is a homemade, informal method with gentle support and coaching. I will ease the learners into gradual independence and self-confidence, so they can start communicating quickly. To do that I use my improvisation skills and enthusiasm and it works very well.

I usually divide each class to make it useful and exciting:

- 1/3 of French lesson (grammar/vocabulary).
- 1/3 of French discussion to go over the lesson.
- 1/3 of games to stabilise the knowledge.

The lessons will be interactive and made of chats, exercises and games. I will provide all the support and will help each student to improve their language by kindly correcting their mistakes and highlighting the key points to remember. I will make it fun and memorable.

I can make it slow or intensive, it will be up to each of the students. No pressure, no stress, it will be enjoyable and everyone will see some progress in no time at all.

I love to meet new students. I am fully CRB/DBS checked, and I am happy to teach children and adults. I can provide references upon request.
