About Becky

I am a French graduate who is passionate about helping others enjoy and improve both their written and verbal communication. I spent a year in France teaching English to French students in groups of around 12, but I also have one-to-one experience. Through the year abroad, I gained experience teaching 11-18 year olds, but have also worked with younger children and adults. Thanks to my year in France, my ability improved greatly and I graduated with a high 2:1 and a verbal distinction in French.

About the lesson

My lessons are for all ages and abilities. I base my lessons on what the student wants to, or needs to learn. For example, for a GCSE French student, I would research the topics given by the relevant examination board and plan a lesson appropriately. I also ensure that the lesson has time to cover anything the student was finding particularly difficult or did not understand. I do aim to keep the lesson fairly informal and try to include games and fun activities where possible.
