About Joanna
I am a French tutor with 6 years of experience and a Doctor of Philosophy in French Language and Literature. I enjoy helping students discover that learning French becomes enjoyable through consistent practice and meaningful conversations.
My teaching approach is friendly, organized, and adapted to every learner's goals. I encourage students to build confidence by speaking regularly while strengthening grammar and vocabulary step by step.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French novels, exploring Francophone cultures, and listening to French podcasts. These experiences allow me to bring authentic language and cultural insights into every lesson.

My French lessons help students become confident speakers by combining practical communication with clear language instruction. We study pronunciation, grammar, listening comprehension, verb conjugation, vocabulary building, sentence formation, reading practice, travel French, and everyday conversations through engaging activities. Every lesson encourages active participation and regular speaking.
As learners improve, we explore storytelling, role-play situations, French culture, idiomatic expressions, writing practice, discussion activities, and listening exercises using authentic materials. I provide personalized corrections and continuous encouragement that help students communicate naturally and accurately.
My goal is to help students use French comfortably in daily life, education, and travel while appreciating the language and its culture. Every lesson strengthens fluency, confidence, and communication skills.
