About Aishwarya

I am a French language teacher with more than 5 years of experience teaching middle school, high school, and university students as well as professionals. In addition to teaching full-time at a school, I give personalized 1:1 coaching to help students and professionals polish their French skills in preparation towards exams and French certifications (such as DELF). I also offer short term courses to corporates to strengthen their workforce's French skills.

I am DELF-certified, studied French at Alliance Francaise de Delhi (India) and have been a full-time teacher in schools as well as a private tutor for the last 5 years before relocating to California.

About the lesson

Specialized in 1:1 or small group teaching.
Activity-based learning, correlating with daily life situations, maximum utilization of French in lieu of English, practice worksheets and evaluation sheets.
I heavily push my students to read aloud, focus on pronunciation, especially accents and their sounds. I strongly believe in interpreting the underlying meaning rather than word-to-word translation from English to French (and vice versa).

I believe in explaining language rules by starting theoretically and subsequently, in an application based manner.
