About Lyra

My interest in French began through fascination with global cultures, literature, and international communication during my academic journey. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in European Languages followed by a Master’s Degree in French Language and Society. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with learners from different educational backgrounds while helping them strengthen fluency and communication confidence through supportive teaching methods.

I believe language learning should feel practical, engaging, and enjoyable for every learner regardless of previous experience. My teaching style focuses on conversation practice, relatable examples, and structured explanation that help students understand French naturally instead of depending completely on memorization. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and communicate actively because confidence develops through supportive interaction and regular participation.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading Francophone literature, exploring French cinema, and learning about traditions across French-speaking cultures. Staying creatively connected to the language helps me bring fresh discussions and cultural insight into lessons regularly. Teaching French is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students become more confident communicators and cultural learners over time. My goal is always to support learners in building fluency while developing appreciation for French language and expression.

About the lesson

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally through structured speaking practice, practical grammar exercises, and interactive learning activities. I teach pronunciation, vocabulary development, listening comprehension, sentence structure, and everyday communication in a supportive environment where learners can improve steadily and confidently. Students are encouraged to participate actively because regular speaking practice builds fluency and comfort naturally over time. Every lesson creates a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.

Lessons are personalized according to each learner’s level, pace, and communication goals. Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation, simple conversations, and grammar foundations, while advanced learners work on listening accuracy, detailed expression, fluent speaking, and writing improvement. I include storytelling activities, roleplay situations, reading exercises, and guided discussions regularly because active participation strengthens understanding and language retention effectively. Students receive supportive correction that helps them improve comfortably without feeling pressured or discouraged.

I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel confident practicing French without fear of making mistakes. Many learners begin with hesitation while speaking, so I focus on gradual fluency development through patience and positive encouragement. Over time, students improve pronunciation, communication ability, and listening skills naturally. French becomes much more rewarding when learners realize they can express themselves clearly and comfortably in meaningful and practical conversations.
