I needed some basic French ability for a 2wk holiday. Numbers, ability to ask directions, read/order from a menu, and similar.
Ms Vittu understood my goals and on a weekly basis, helped correct my pronunciation as we engaged in basic conversational French. She and I compiled lists of the words/phrases I would likely need - and drilled me thoroughly.
Learning a language at 65+ is not as simple as Babel portrays; YOU need to do the memorization; she'll then help you with pronunciation, culture, and lots of support.
