About Sophia

My name is Sophia, I grew up in the South of France (Aix en Provence) and moved to the UK in September 2025 as I am currently a first-year student in Political Economy at King’s College London. Growing up in an international environment as I was in an international high school gave me a passion for languages and I would be happy to teach French as it is my native language. Bilingual in English and French I am also learning Spanish. I want to teach French like a game because I believe that learning a language has to be fun and not a pain!

About the lesson

Interested in learning French? The best way is to have conversations with a native that corrects you! To improve your vocabulary and your grammar I would be excited to offer exercises and homework to do before each class but only if this corresponds to your learning method. Otherwise if you’d rather learn French by having simple convos I would also be happy! I am also súper interested in teaching French to children. As a matter of fact, I have completed a French International Baccalaureate meaning that my classes were both in English and French even if my parents are both 100% French. This enabled me to study in the UK and I, as a result, know the methods to give to teenagers and children that want to learn a second language!
