About Balquis

I am a dedicated French tutor with a strong academic background and nearly a decade of experience studying the language. My approach is student-centered and structured, with a focus on building both grammatical accuracy and real conversational fluency. I design lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual goals, whether they are preparing for exams, improving writing skills, or developing confidence in speaking.

As a bilingual speaker of French and Arabic, I bring a deeper understanding of how students learn languages and where they commonly struggle. About the lesson

My approach to teaching French is student-centered, structured, and immersive. I focus on developing both grammatical accuracy and real-world communication skills, ensuring that students not only learn the rules of the language but also feel confident using them in conversation. I incorporate methods such as guided grammar instruction, interactive dialogue, repetition with variation, and active recall to reinforce learning and retention.

Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals, typically including a review of previous material, introduction of a new concept, guided practice, and real-life application through speaking or writing. I also integrate cultural context to make the language more meaningful and engaging.

With nearly ten years of experience studying French and a background in both French and Arabic, I bring a bilingual perspective that helps me support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. I work with beginner to advanced learners, including high school and university students, as well as adult learners. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each student’s needs while prioritizing confidence-building, especially in speaking, which is often the most challenging aspect of language learning.
