About Emma

I am Emma, I'm in my early thirties looking to teach people at any level, basic, even if you don't know any French give me 20 minutes and I'm sure I can make you know a lot more than you thought. I'd love to bring out a newfound confidence in people that they never thought they had, for travelling, professionally or even if it's just to get some help with exams or just for fun, I can help you get to the point where you need to be. Nothing gained, nothing earnt!

About the lesson

My first thought is what do you want to learn from the lessons, is it more about breaking down words and making them easier to vocalise and speak or is it more reading and learning visually that you need. What is your speed of learning to suit what works for you. I can gradually teach you at a slow pace or if you need pushing in the right direction with a repetitive/dyslexia type need I can work with that. I want to tailor the lesson to what your goals are. We would use lessons for 30 mins or an hour based on a subject like French Tour de France by, 1. watching some small clips and thinking about what we could write up about it, learn the basics of what is seen in the video, make it as fun and engaging as possible so that when it comes to written or oral learning you can do well, it won't feel overwhelming. I'm looking to become a French teacher slowly and surely. I know I can make the lessons work with worksheets and various resources. This will be a proper French lesson. I want to grow the skills I have at naturally being able to teach anyone and everyone around me some fun things about France.
