About Fiona
Education:
My passion for maths won me a place at Exeter Mathematics School for my A levels (further maths A*, maths A, physics B, History A), and I now study Bsc Mathematics (hons) at the University of Bath.
Tutoring:
I have volunteered teaching in Bath's maths outreach program, and have previously tutored fellow friends and students in my secondary school and sixth-form in physics, maths and History
I was the treasurer for our university's debating society as well as the highest rated speaker at completions and co-ran the speaker training sessions for other students.
Hobbies:
Along side debating competitively, I enjoy poetry, indie music and current affairs.

I believe for people to really get comfortable with maths they need to understand and visualise what they're doing. To achieve top grades examiners look for deep understanding and throw questions that rote learning and question-memorisation won't make a dent in.
Each student is different so we will try many different approaches to see what can make see that maths is beautiful - or at least not as awful!
