About Libby
I am a graduate of the University of St Andrews, where I specialised in Politics and International Relations, after achieving A*s in both Politics and English Literature at A Level. I have worked in politics for the past few years, and bring that real-world perspective into my tutoring. My main focus is to help A Level Government and Politics students feel confident with the subject, not only in terms of content knowledge but also in developing the essay-writing and exam skills that examiners look for. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to suit their needs—whether that’s breaking down complex theories, practising timed essay plans, or giving constructive feedback on written work. What I enjoy most is inspiring students to see how engaging and relevant Politics can be. I aim to build their confidence, encourage curiosity, and make sure they leave each session with a clearer understanding of the topic and a strategy for improvement. to engage with politics in a meaningful way.
