About Nicola

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have over 20 years experience in teaching English as a foreign language, as both a teacher and a manager. I have been teaching and managing courses in London for the past 15 years , and previously taught as well as managed EFL schools abroad.
I have taught classes at a range of different levels, including both general English and exam preparation for ESOL skills Life, FCE, CAE and IELTS exams. I have also taught Academic English and study skills to foreign students preparing to study both undergraduate and masters degrees in the UK.
I have delivered one to one tuition on site to business employees at an international company based in South London, as well as to private students at different levels.

My English teaching qualifications are as follows:

ADTE(E)LS (2012)- Additional Diploma in teaching English (ESOL) in the Lifelong learning sector
PGCE (2006)
TESOL diploma (2002)
CELTA (1996)

I am also on the International ESOL Examiner Panel for Trinity College, London. As part of this role I undertake examining tours to schools in Italy and Spain.

EFL classes £37 per hour or £52 for 1.5 hours
Exam preparation classes £37 per hour or £52 for 1.5 hours
Proficiency classes £45 per hour or £55 for 1.5 hours

- Where do you teach?

I will deliver classes either in the student's home, at my home or online.

Weekdays and evenings.
