Lesson Plan: Basic Math, Science & Tagalog for Kids (Ages 5–10)
My Approach

Typical Lesson Flow
1. Warm-up greeting in Tagalog
2. Hands-on exploration
3. Guided practice + key words
4. Quick independent try
5. Fun closing game or song
Sample Mini-Lessons
Math – Counting & Adding
Count objects together in English/Tagalog. Add a few more and ask “Ilan na?” Write simple number sentences.
Science – Living vs Non-living
Sort pictures or real things. Ask why. Teach words: may buhay / walang buhay, halaman, hayop, tubig.
Tagalog – Greetings & Polite Words
Practice “Magandang umaga/hapon,” “salamat,” “po/opo.” Play a polite “Simon Says” game.
