About Me
Full-Time Student Perspective: As a first-year Engineering student studying full-time on campus at York University, I’m actively applying advanced math and physics every single day. Being currently immersed in demanding coursework means the fundamental concepts of middle and high school STEM are fresh in my mind, allowing me to explain them in a practical, up-to-date, and accessible way.
Firsthand ADHD Understanding: Having ADHD myself, I know firsthand how frustrating traditional classroom instruction can be when a teacher's style doesn't match how your brain processes information. I went through the process of finding what actually works for neurodivergent learners through trial and error.
My Teaching Philosophy: I teach the way I wish I had been taught. Rather than expecting students to sit quietly through long, passive lectures, I focus on active engagement, visual breakdowns, and step-by-step problem-solving. My goal is to help students harness their academic potential, overcome executive dysfunction obstacles, raise their grades, and build genuine, stable study habits that work for brains with ADHD.
