My specialism is history and my degree is in Classical Studies (Ancient Greece and Rome). However I can cover any period of history dependent upon your requirements.
I have specific experience in teaching German History, British Imperial History as well as standard GCSE topics such as Health, Elizabeth, Nazi's etc. I have experience teaching AQA, Educas/WJEC, and OCR exam boards
I am very enthusiastic about ensuring students enjoy the study of History and that they develop an understanding of the usefulness of the history in their general study.
As someone who has worked outside of teaching for many years prior to a career change I can also model to students how important a broad application of skills is useful to them.
I am happy to teach students either via online methods, or face to face and I will tailor sessions for either exam skills or subject content dependent on requirements. For your first session it is worthwhile spending some time discussing what you need and how best to focus your learning to get the most out of your sessions.
