About Izzy

Hi! I’ve recently finished college with a strong academic record and a passion for helping others succeed. I have achieved top grades in Maths (A*), Further Maths (A), and Chemistry (A*), and am studying Chemistry at the University of Bath next year. At GCSE, I achieved 7 grade 9s, 1 grade 8, and 2 grade 7s, including 9s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, French, Physics, and Biology. I aim to make learning engaging, clear, and confidence-building. I am friendly, patient, and I tailor my approach to each student’s needs. I take pride in being reliable and approachable, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.

About the lesson

I offer tutoring for GCSE Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and French, as well as A/AS Level Mathematics and Chemistry. My teaching focuses on full exam preparation: building a clear understanding of all topics, applying knowledge to past exam questions, and learning how to approach questions to maximise marks. Lessons are tailored to each student, ensuring support where it’s needed most and helping unlock the next grade (or two). My goal is not only to help students understand their subjects but also to build their confidence and independence so they can excel in exams and beyond.
