About Alex

I'm an 18-year-old maths lover heading to the University of Exeter (Russell Group) this September. In my spare time I genuinely enjoy watching 3Blue1Brown, which has given me a strong intuitive grasp of calculus and algebra beyond what the syllabus covers. I've always been the person my friends come to when they're stuck on a problem, and honestly I love it. There's something really satisfying about seeing something finally click for someone.

A few things about me outside of maths:
Art, especially impressionism
Walks in nature and long train rides
Dogs
Chocolate

About the lesson

Whether you're working through GCSE topics or tackling A-Level content, I'll work around what you need rather than following a rigid plan. The goal is always for things to actually make sense, not just to get through the material. Being a maths student myself, I know which bits tend to trip people up and I remember what it's like to genuinely not get something -
so I won't just throw a method at you and hope for the best.
