About the lesson

I’m currently a nursing major with a 3.9 GPA and a strong foundation in science and health-related subjects. In addition to nursing, I’ve pursued minors in Civil Engineering, Physics, and Kinesiology, which gives me a well-rounded academic background perfect for tutoring in a wide range of STEM topics. I’m also on a pre-med track and plan to attend medical school, so I bring both academic excellence and long-term commitment to the health sciences. I have several years of tutoring experience working with nursing, pre-med, and health science students in subjects like pharmacology, pathophysiology, chemistry, and physics. My approach is tailored and student-centered. I break down complex topics into simple, relatable concepts and use active learning strategies like practice questions, real-world examples, and visual aids to reinforce understanding. I believe in building not just subject knowledge but also confidence and critical thinking skills. I’ve worked with a wide range of students; from high schoolers preparing for AP science classes to college-level students in demanding healthcare and science programs. I’ve tutored both one-on-one and in small groups, including peer sessions, structured tutoring programs, and volunteer academic support.
